From tonight's chat:
synaesthete7: I realized this morning that I am in imminent need of professional help. I was suddenly possessed by the urge to write an angsty romance fic (very much tongue-in-cheek, I hasten to add!) of "Blue's Clues".
Missee3: rja.
Missee3: stop now.
Missee3: stop. NOW.
cakrdeath: lolol
lydaclunas7: LOL!!!!
synaesthete7: Steve falls for a pretty blonde babysitter on the other side of his TV screen...
synaesthete7: "What's that? You love me too? Wow! That's really great... What? Oh! A clue!"
synaesthete7: Sorry, all this kiddie TV watching with Nicholas has affected my brain.
Persephone 4 5 1: LOL
Persephone 4 5 1: I love Blues Clues...
Persephone 4 5 1: (in moderation, of course. I've only seen it once or twice)
lydaclunas7: I'm going to resist the temptation to make some kind of awful joke about Mrs Salt and Mr Pepper.
Persephone 4 5 1: They /do/ have Baby Paprika.
synaesthete7: I actually had to go and look up what their new baby was and what it was named... I was dying of curiosity. Isn't that sad?
synaesthete7: It's a boy and his name is Cinnamon, btw.
lydaclunas7: Yeah, but how do you get Paprika and Cinnamon from Salt and Pepper?
cakrdeath: good lord
Persephone 4 5 1: LOL
synaesthete7: So obviously there is still some spice in their marriage *falls down giggling*
cakrdeath: this is out of control
Persephone 4 5 1: LOLOLOLOL
Persephone 4 5 1: RJA, you crack me up
cakrdeath: *sknxxx*
lydaclunas7: I think Salt's been doing a little running around the spice cabinet, personally
synaesthete7: BWAA!!!!
lydaclunas7: Yeah. You know it's true. ;-)
Persephone 4 5 1: LOL
lydaclunas7: What's sad is that those of us without children know all about this show.
synaesthete7: BTW, wouldn't it have to be Pepper and not Salt doing the running if they have oddly flavoured children?
Missee3: (can't believe we're talking about this...)
Yeah, I can't believe it either.

I just watched S&S again last week, actually. Fine, fine film. Even my husband liked it, and that's saying a lot, as he normally can't stand stuff with so little "action". But he thought it was funny. He especially liked Mr. Palmer. :)
