Judging by the flurry of posts on my f-list, nearly everybody on LJ knows by now that Madeleine L'Engle has died.
Among the numerous tributes I've seen to L'Engle's life and work, I especially appreciated the beautiful quote from A Wind in the Door chosen by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
curtana, and kalquessa's poem "Ananda".
Many people have been moved, challenged and inspired by L'Engle's writing, and I am no exception. She will be greatly missed.
