...when the D&L recanonization project will be finished, and where they can read it. And there's more than one of you, even. Aw! You guys are swell.

As it happens, I am not planning to upload the revised D&L to any of the HP archives until I've gone through all the chapters, and the barrel o' betas have okayed it. I'm currently up to Chapter 4 of "If We Survive" and making pretty good progress, so I'm thinking that the whole project will probably be done by the end of September at the latest.

Rest assured, though, as soon as it's done and ready for public consumption I'll be posting the links here.

Question/favour - I don't know if you know that we're working on a new upload system for fa, and fics that were first uploaded a long long time ago (ie in our first 15 months or so) are configued somewhat differently from the rest. Give me a headsup before you're ready to submit and if possible, we might want to use your fic as a test of the replacement process. Ok?

Hee...I was rereading bits of D&L yesterday, randomly... it's been so long since I first read it, I was afraid that maybe I only liked it as much as I did because I was a starry-eyed newbie and didn't know How to Judge Fanfictions, or something, I don't know why. But - so wrong - I love it as much as ever! Maud and Snape are adorable, Maud especially. I like the idea of her with him so much better than him with a canon character, and Maud is wonderfully loveable. And I didn't even mind the ending so much...it gave me feelings of warm fluffiness. :) I can't wait to see how you've adapted it to OotP.
