OH HAI GUYS I FORGOT TO MENTION I'M DOING A SIGNING IN TORONTO TODAY:

January 7, 2010 @ 7 p.m., Yorkdale Mall Indigo Books
with Megan Crewe (author of Give Up The Ghost)
and Neesha Meminger (author of
Shine, Coconut Moon)

Both Megan and Neesha's books are beautifully written and they are also lovely people, so even if you are justifiably sick of me waving Faery Rebels: Spell Hunter under your nose, you might want to come out and say hello to them and pick up some great new reads in the process.

Or, you know, you could say hi to me and get me to sign your books and stuff. Whatever.

***

Also, today is the OFFICIAL release date of Rebel in the UK which means it should now be freely had at all good bookstores (including the noble law-abiding ones in Ireland who have been clinging fast to that embargo notice). Yay!

You have an embargo notice? Cool!

If it's colder than Canada down here in Arkansas today, does that mean that your book signing is magically within walking distance as well?

I wish it were true, about the cold-induced teleportation thing! I'd love to meet you and chat with you some day.

And yes, Rebel was embargoed until its release date in Ireland, according to [livejournal.com profile] lady_schrapnell who lives there. Made me feel all J.K. Rowling-like. Although I doubt anybody held a midnight release party for the book with people dressed up in faery wings and carrying stuffed crows, or anything of that sort! :D

MT: Lost was embargoed in the US. It's one of those nice "big book!" signals the publisher likes to send to the booksellers. It's certainly a nice thing for Rebel!

I have my copy now :)
Waterstones had them on a table display (with the Twilight books, lol. I may or may not have placed a copy of Rebel on top of New Moon) and part of the 3 for 2 promotion.

Well, crap. I just saw this. I would've totally stopped by at Yorkdale and said hi as it's on the way home :( Stupid work for blocking LJ. Hope it well tonight!
