  • 12:55 Why does writing ANYTHING seem like such a giant effort? My blog is disgraceful in its lack of content lately. *hangs head*
  • 12:59 Typealyzer thinks that both my Twitter account and my blog are ESFP. In fact, I am INTJ.Too many exclamation points?

I'm another INTJ (borderline INFJ) who got that result. Quite odd.

Sometimes sitting down and writing is like pulling teeth. The only way I can do it is through routine. Its habit to put my butt in the chair and just start typing at this point.

Greetings from yet another NT! (InTp/j) Typealyzer thinks my blog is ESTJ. It may be that we are different types in various parts of our lives. I'd guess that every passing term paper would show as INTJ, even the one by the most air-headed cheerleader.

IIRC, I got ESFP from Typealyzer before.

*waves!* Typealizer calls me an ISFP, but I've always gotten INTJ on the usual Myers-Briggs tests. Makes one wonder what the algorithm is based on, and what role self-perception plays into both writing habits and multiple-choice answers.

It might be to what we are doing when blogging. Anybody's type varies by activity. We are all SJ's at tax time.

The "S" factor is about doing. Blogging is doing something. "S" is also more about specific facts, or at least data points, by which we validate what our "N" factor leads us to. So, any "N's" blog will often look "S."

I tend to be concrete in what I blog about. "S" is concrete and "N" is more abstract. Actually, I look upon "N," "F," and "P" as summations of what we are given by our "S," "T." and "J." Also, while I'm reluctant to act upon my feelings, I do consider how I will feel after doing something as I decide about an action. So for me "F" becomes a data point. But not a "mere" data point.

Hey, don't worry about it, we'll live. In fact, since I've sworn off LJ until I get some serious work done towards my writing project...um, oops.
