It's going to be out January 8th, so not until after Christmas, alas! As for a 13-year-old boy... I guess it depends on the boy! I think there's enough action and adventure in it that a boy reader might be interested, but with the faery angle and the character list being almost entirely female, I'm not banking on boys being my primary readership for this book. :)
