Because I.S. Jin did me a gorgeous illustration in honour of the recent revision I did to The Potions Master's Apprentice, and I just had to colour and iconify it. Thanks, ISJ!
I was doing some family research, genealogy stuff, and found out that one of the branches of my family is the Moodys. My great-grandfather's mother was a Moody, and his middle name was Moody.
Does this make Mad-Eye (and by extension Maud) my distant cousins? ;)
It is so her! It's that look of narrow-eyed pensiveness--you can just see the wheels turning as she mulls over her dilemma. She's going to bite her lower lip in a second....
And if Severus were there, (but he's not) he could tuck that wisp back behind her ear....
Ah, but in the original illustration, he is. There just wasn't room enough for him on the icon, so I had to Photoshop him out from behind Maud and remove his hand from her shoulder.
