I have permission to share my UK cover!



cesario accused me of selling my soul for diabolical purposes to get Brian Froud as my cover artist, but it was pure serendipity, honest. Seems like he just happened to have this fierce-looking white-haired teenaged faery in his portfolio...

Anyway, the final product has an iridescent overlay, so it will be even more cool and shiny when I get the finished proofs in the mail -- which are supposed to be arriving soon. Yay!

Damn, that's good. It immediately establishes character and identity for the book. You know that you are not going to read a pale imitation of someone else. In fact (not that I am saying there is the slightest chance), but it would be a surprise to any reader if any book with such a cover turned out to be boring.
