No worries, RJ! Except for the original "Ridin' the Storm Out," I don't miss them either. That one still makes me want to play air guitar and air drums (which would have been a good category, too)

Ah, now... :( My problem...s with this one is... um, are, that I never remember songs with years attached, and I'd be lucky to remember the titles on some of them. Or remember them without hearing them.

My memory just doesn't suit this meme. :(

I never remember songs with years attached either, but I can at least manage the decade. :)

It also helps that I had a very large MP3 playlist with which to refresh my memory...

"Lie Down in the Grass" by Charlie Peacock

    I LOVE THIS SONG!

I also like 'Big Man's Hat' and "Experience". Charlie Peacock rulez!

Those are my favorite Peacock tunes too! How cool are you?

I've managed to track down a version of "Big Man's Hat", but I've never yet got my hands on "Experience"... I know it's on "The Secret of Time", which I used to own and (like most of my cassettes) wore out, but I've not found it on Kazaa yet.

Hubby snagged West Coast Diaries 1&2 on CD in college. One of the only good things about the Bible College (hereafter called 'That Place') was that there was a really good Christian Bookstore that sold music for cheap! Oh, and here's what he's doing now: http://www.charliepeacock.com/html/news.html

Don't know if you have that link or not. I try to keep up with all my old faves online!

I could do this meme, but I just have this feeling that it's slightly more directed towards those eighties fans who actually lived in the eighties, as opposed to those of us who rejected nineties music in our teens in favour of synthesized sound. ;)

On a related note, I have found the resident coordinator here with the stash of 80s music -- she was playing The Smiths at the bar last night and we had a discussion about how we should have been born about 10 or 12 years earlier than we actually were. Heh.

Slightly, but by no means exclusively. I'm quite sure you're qualified to answer it, or feel free to adjust the meme to fit. :)

Am absolutely loving your descriptions of Italy BTW. It sounds gorgeous.
