...who keeps writing comments on LJ posts and being told that they've been saved, only to find them missing when I reload the page? And worse, two of my comments showed up once and then seemed to disappear. Grrr.

I'm not sure what's up with LJ. I've had the most trouble when replying to others' comments on my review of the US/UK differences in PoA chapter 4. It was a terrific nuisance: I would post the reply, see nothing, re-post it, see it double-posted, try to delete one, find both gone, etc. Only after several attempts did the reply show up once and only once.

Not the only one. It seems everyone has trouble. I just added my own post and first it wouldn't show up and then it wouldn't show up on the edit page. Something's troubling the LJ land.

No, you're not, this has been happening over the past few days.

It's also been happening with posts on my friends list, and with the RSS feeds of journals.

It may have something to do with this (http://www.livejournal.com/community/lj_support/380608.html), but I'm not sure.

Support (http://www.livejournal.com/support/)'s Big Yellow List of Known Issues seems to indicate, well, that it's a known issue.
