Oh, Marble Slab Creamery, where have you been all my life?

I had Double Dark Chocolate in a Dark Chocolate waffle cone, for the record. My sons had Birthday Cake with gummi bears in one and M&M's in the other, and my husband had vanilla with Oreo cookie bits in a Skor waffle cone.

Mmmmmmmmmm. *eyes roll back in head*

Maybe Mable Slab Creamery tastes good, but....

We have Cold Stone Creamery here. http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/

Folks made a big deal about it. So, we went to try it out. The ice cream base is for crap! It tastes like artificially flavored pureed paper with whatever was chosen for mixings thrown in. Blech. And the price? WAY too much for ice cream. I told my husband we might as well get generic-brand ice cream at the grocery store, some toppings, throw a marble cutting board in the freezer with some spatulas, and have at it.

LOL Okay. I'd never go to all that bother.

Same, here. We actually threw our ice cream away it was so nasty (which says something since it cost the price of a good meal!).

Marble Slab is much better!

Good to know! (And I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Cold Stone Creamery is majorly yucky! I wonder how they even stay in business....)

Looks like a Marble Slab is coming to Kanasville, WI, which is 1 1/2 hours from my house. My step-daughter lives near there... That will make a good family stop. :-)
