Already posted this in [livejournal.com profile] nostalgia_lj's journal, since she was the one who started it all, but since I'm sure most of you will never see it there, here it is:

So naturally his youngest son looked like Harry Potter and made potions like Neville Longbottom. And somewhere, the Fates were laughing.

Which reminds me, there's a new Snapelets cookie that a lot of you have probably not seen yet...

I am... it's just being constructed out of a bunch of scenes in random chronological order this time, that's all. But you have seen the other three Snapelets cookies, haven't you? If not, they're linked from my blog...

Even the most brilliant future evil overlords have been known to underestimate the dangers of combining teenaged girls and time travel.

Mwahahaha. :)

And have I mentioned lately that I *really* like that last cookie? Well, I do. :)

LOL!!! You rock, Teri.

As for the Library cookie, I'm very glad (make that relieved) you like it so much! Seeing as you're the authority on Tom Riddle and all... :)

Re: the 21-word fic. Could even Voldemort have invented a worse torture for Severus Snape? I think not . . . ;-)

As to the new Snapelets cookie--Margot is really starting to worry me (which is doubtless your intention). I mean, her dad has at least some rudiments of a conscience, but she's well on her way to having nothing recognizable as one. Or at least she doesn't at this point; who knows what may come later? I, for one, am eager to find out. 8-)

You are quite right to be worried about Margot. No conscience, just pragmatism. You can see why she doesn't get along well with Maud.

Ooooo...that was good...so very good. It felt like the literary equivalent of something melting on my tongue....and I tried to think what food metaphor I could use...until I realized, ah, the cookie! :)

I am liking the Margot. It's amazing, the amount of characterization you can bring out in just the one simple scene. *applauds*

I think next we need...Snape family dinner scene. O, the bickering. Muaha.

You are now the second person to request a Snape family dinner scene, so I think I had better get on it as soon as I can figure out how old they all are at that point and what they're going to argue about.

Oooooooh! Yes, yes, yes, that would be perfect. Not least because it would have the unusual and highly uncomfortable effect of putting Margot and Maud on the same side...

Thank you, Liz! Mwah!
