Well, that was thoroughly unpleasant. Two unlikeable characters we hardly know do a lot of selfish things and then meet a horrifying end. Also, the main plot hardly advances at all. Yes, there were some clever little details re Nikki and Paolo, but on the whole, I found the ep more depressing than anything else.

On a positive note, if I skip House and Lost until the end of April, I'll have more time to write! And I can still watch New Who S3 on Sunday nights! Yay!

Given the number of survivors with criminal backgrounds, it seems that it's more rare to have a "normal" person on the island.

Really? DH and I really enjoyed it! He especially liked how they recreated the crash from ep.1 (particularly when Boone dashed up to Nikki and asked her for a pen. :)).

But me? Hey, as long as it's not yet another ep about Jack and The Others, I'm good.
