Bits of my Personal History

Wolf, having taken my Friend Test until he got all the answers right, now wants to know how I ended up being born in Uganda. (Kampala, Uganda, to be exact.) Well, my Mom and Dad and my three older brothers sailed over there on the Queen Mary in 1967, and lived in a house in Kampala for the next three years while my Dad taught at a local Bible school. I was born a couple of months before my parents were planning to leave, so I remember absolutely nothing of Uganda, although my brothers remember quite a bit. So there you have the story.

Oh, and the answer to the "How many people had RJ dated before she met her husband" question? None. Nada. Zip. Not a one. And I'm not a bit sorry about that, either, although (typically) I sometimes felt rather sorry for myself at the time. Still, the Lord was gracious enough to give me the deepest desire of my heart, rather than merely allowing me to flatter my ego at my own (or someone else's) expense. And now, just to bring that bit of philosophical musing down to earth with a thump, I'm going to go have breakfast.
