Stupid baseball.

On a happier note, I actually got some honest-to-goodness rest last night, if you don't count the hour after each feeding where Paul yelled his head off for no discernible reason. I know babies have to fuss sometime, but could they at least do it during the day when nobody is trying to sleep?

It's clearly time to promote Test cricket as an alternative to baseball in North America. Games may last 5 days, but a day's play is over in plenty of time for evening TV.

What do you think of this guy as poster boy for the cricket campaign?

I've no idea who you are, but any fan of Guareschi is a friend of mine. May I friend you?

Certainly (she responds, hijacking Rebecca's comments page to have a conversation with a third party). Having limped along friendless during my first months of LiveJournal-dom, I now make two in the same day. I should post about cricket more often! :-)

Seriously, it is always nice to meet another Guareschi reader. The search for fellow Don Camillo fans is what brought me online in the first place, so if it's all right, I will friend you as well.

Could the baby maybe be sensitive to the antibiotics? I can't imagine why else he would be crying after feeding...that seems to be when they are most content!

They just time their operations for maximum effect. ^_^ Babies, that is. Though baseball occasionally does the same thing.

Feel better!
