Squee! and Eek!

I've just watched both parts of the Blue Peter interview with David Tennant so kindly provided by __kali__ (you can find it here if you're looking for the video, or just read the transcript at the BBC site), and Tennant is just too adorable, especially with the dancing at the end. I can't wait to see him as the Doctor.

Was anybody else totally creeped out by the winning monster entry, though? I mean, those faces sticking out of its skin are just sick, man, especially if they're going to move and make tortured expressions and all that stuff. Leave it to a nine-year-old boy to come up with such a twisted design...

Here via a twisting road; the bread crumbs have just been eaten and I can't tell you where I started from. Sorry.

I hope you don't mind my friending you. I'm a fifty plus library clerk with a love for Harry Potter, C.S. Lewis and odd fiction found in magazines from the 1860's. If it it's juvenile literature; I'll give it a read.

What brought me here was a love for your version of the HP universe and my view of 9-year-old boys. I must say that most children live in a shadowland peopled on one side by dark grey clouds inhabited by evil monsters and on the other by valleys inhabited by odd people who never quite make you feel safe. As children explore they beging to drag their fantasies into the open. Sometimes they write or draw them which is a good outlet, othertimes they act out with terrifying results.

Please let me friend you. Waves. I love books, dragons and the vast unknown and unknowable.
