Found in the comments to this post (which is hilarious in its own right) on Laurie King's blog:

The early spell-check programs were prone to fits of madness. When I wrote my senior paper for my B.A. (on Romeo and Juliet) my computer kept trying to disrupt their romance with a feud between the Mortgages and the Capsules.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

*wipes away tears of mirth*

Oh, man, I needed that.

Did you see the lovely haiku conversion (http://www.livejournal.com/users/angevin2/202224.html) of Shakespeare's sonnets, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] angevin2? That made me chuckle. :)

Was writing a scene with Severus that involved the word gentle touch, with the irony being on the word gentle. My spell check (and my inability to spell in the first place) changed it to genital. I heard Jedi Boadicea, my Quill beta, laughing at me thorough the computer screen for that one!
