After reading some of the spoilers on my flist, is it wrong that I have absolutely no desire to watch the season premiere of Alias? Is there any reason that I ought to change my mind on this point?

Sigh.

*goes off to download latest episode of Lost, for which I am blissfully spoiler-free*

Where can you download Lost episodes? ABC's site? That show is the one reason I almost regret not getting television service (we realized we were only watching Nick Jr. and Playhouse Disney, so we didn't resume it when we moved).

Don't you have an arial antenna? Or even a pair of rabbit ears? Because Lost is on network TV (ABC, Channel 4, 7:00).

You have to have a dish in order to get even network TV in our area, I believe.

Hmm. Are you sure? Because the big 3 (channels 2, 4, and 5) have pretty high-powered antennas up there on the Oquirrhs, and even the little po-dunk towns like Toquerville and Parowan can get those stations through translator stations. You're in the Highland/Alpine area, aren't you? You should be able to get a signal there.

Even rabbit ears won't catch some signals. Remember I can't get UPN/FOX to see Gilmore Girls or Smallville and I'm only 5 hours away from an area that does(Detroit).

Oh darling... *hugs*
I thoroughly enjoyed both Lost and Alias - I went in with no expectations and thought Alias was a very well done 2 hours of television. Bah to the naysayers, I say ;)

I rather enjoyed Alias--although it was very much the same old stuff, the same old stuff is pretty fun--but I think that there are reasons you might not.

happily sighing at 3 pretty avis, all in a row.

Um...no major reason. There are some intriguing throwbacks to Season 1, Weiss appears to be taking on a 'Will' role (I may watch just to see how long it takes him to catch on to what Vaughn and Syd are up to, and see what he does then... *loves Weiss*), and the new HQ is in the LA SUBWAY! Which even LAers sometimes do not know exists.

But I'm not recommending that you watch.

LOST is better right now. :-)

Give it a chance RJ, hopefully you will not be too disappointed. The season appears to me to be sliding back into the old 'SD6' type stories with the old crew thrown together-- whether they liked it or not. Of course Sid has no plans on forgiving Salone, and Jack is back on Sids s%%t list, but I say watch it just to see how they 'marshal' Marshall into the group. Every Black Spy Op needs a Techno Geek. Wonder what Wolf is doing next year besides going to college finally? :D
