The last time I checked out any WR it was Harry and the Potters and I thought it was lame. . .
This reminds me of my colleague's 10-year-old son's comment when we had Harry and the Potters play at the library. "They're geeks", he said - or words to that effect. "Yes," his mother and I agreed. "They are geeks. That's the point!"
But seriously, charming boys though Paul and Joe are, they can't sing. No arguments there. There is, however, a lot of good and clever and funny stuff out there in Wizard Rockdom. Some of it is even very musical. I'd recommend Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons - Amy has a lovely voice. And my sister just recommended a really, really clever band called Peeved. He wrote a song called "the Ballad of Percy Weasley". You can find both of them on myspace - and I will go forthwith and check out the singer you have mentioned.
Oh - others we've been positively impressed by recently, in addition to Whompy (the Whomping Willows), who's got some of the cleverest lyrics going - Swish and Flick and Nagini We both love Nagini's "James isn't cool".
