Ugh. That's so frustrating. I feel your pain. I moved to NY immediately after my wedding so my mom had to ship all my stuff to me. Well, our doorbell was broken--I'd even put a sign on the door about it--but the mailman insisted on ringing it anyway then leaving, taking my packages with him, when I didn't answer. One day I was expecting a certain box and even waited by the front door all morning. Didn't hear him at all. I opened the door later that afternoon to see the delivery notice. Since it was a heavy box, they weren't gonna try again. I'd have to come pick it up myself. The problem: we had only one car and my husband was working at the job from you-know-where at the time which meant he was lucky if he came home before 3am and had to be back to work again by 6 am. I couldn't ask someone to take me to the post office because I didn't know anyone yet. I spent half an hour on the phone arguing with the lady at the post office before she relented and I got my package the next day.

I hope you're able to get your revisions without much more of a headache.
