Well, I was just saying to firelocks that if the new DADA teacher with her poisoned-honey personality strikes any sparks with Snape, that would be the most awful fanfic cliche... and yet if JKR does it*, I will not complain. Because she's not fanfic, she's the Real Thing, baby. -- Not that she will do that, of course. We already know what she thinks of Snape romance. Or says she thinks, anyway.
