I thought about doing snowflake when I was planning for nano last year but it was way too late. And also, it seemed like so much work for a novel I wasn't sure I'd be able to stick to past that month. But now that I've got this novel I want to write (actually based on last year's nanowrimo novel), it seems like a good time. Thanks for the detailed answers - awesome!
