I've just seen this week's Heroes...

...but I cannot post a coherent review, because I am dead of the awesome.

Seriously, that was so amazing it might just be the best episode yet. Mind you, it wasn't perfect: I found the bits with Moyawnder and Sylar to be a little too predictable. (And wah, because I really liked Dale, and was hoping that she and her supa!hearing would give Sylar a good fight, as promised.) Also, sad as it makes me to say it, I was not really interested in Hiro and Ando this week, and I don't quite buy into Hiro all of a sudden deciding to go the lone wolf route.

But! But! BUT!!! Hana a.k.a. "Wireless" rocks my socks, and I love the idea of an increasingly desperate Matt getting sucked into helping her and Nuclear Ted go after HRG. The plotline with Claire and Mrs. Bennet and HRG was fantastic, emotionally charged stuff -- I fear that HRG is not long for this world, but I'd be glad to be proven wrong about that.

The absolute best thing in the show, though, was Dark!Peter. I could watch Claude and Peter fight and yell at each other all day, but when Peter used TK and then flew and and and -- seriously, my little fangirl heart just went splodey. And then the fight! with! Isaac! even though I totally saw the Simone thing coming. Oh, Dark!Peter, how you have become exponentially more interesting than the slightly whiny floppy-haired empath of the opening episodes. Also, GUH.

I think the measure of a really good episode is that as soon as you're finished you want to watch it again, and that's just how I feel about this one.

Agree, agree, agree. The Peter/Claude parts were the best. And there was someone else besides Hiro using their powers on purprose instead of it just happening! Yay for TK!Peter! (Side note; what other powers does he have from the grab bag that is Sylar? Some magnified voice thingy showed up when he yelled at Isaac.)

Yeah, I wondered about that. Have we seen anyone on the show use that yet? I thought we had; but I could be copy/pasting from X-Men, so.... :-)

Thank you! I knew I'd seen somebody do something like that. Yay!

He was using Eden's power when he yelled "DON'T LIE TO ME!" at Isaac. (I wasn't sure at first that Peter had ever met Eden, but yes, he has: she was in Mohinder's apartment when he and Mohinder first met, just before the Future!Hiro on the train incident.)

Oh, yeah! I'd forgotten about that. Boy, no wonder he was about to blow up. Let's make a list...

Peter's Powers:
+ Mind reading (courtesy of Weiss Matt Parkman)
+ Telekinesis (Sylar)
+ Voice command (Eden)
+ Flying (Nate)
+ Regeneration (Claire)
+ Radioactive (Unibomber-lookalike Ted)
+ Invisibility (Claude)
+ Time travel (Hiro)
+ And at least a few unknowns from Sylar that we haven't seen yet.

Am I missing anthing?

Sylar's known powers:

- "fixing" stuff (his own original power)
- TK (from his first victim)
- ice (from the first guy we saw with his head cut off)
- super-memory and information processing (Charlie)
- melting metal and plastic (Zane)
- super-hearing (Dale)

You know, I do think Peter is still more powerful than Sylar by a long shot, *if* he can learn to control those powers reliably.

When Peter and Isaac started fighting, I thought that maybe Peter would be the one who kills him ala Hiro's future jump. As it seemed he was starting to pull Sylar tricks out of his hat, I could see him going a little too far and finding himself using the same little technique the psycho-bastard uses.

I almost laughed when Peter was flying - it looked SO much like the flying scenes in Lois & Clark!

I KNOW! Oh, my, I've wanted to like Peter all along, but he just kept whining. But GUH, now that he's all competent and conflicted and completely hot.

Just have to say

I love the phrase "I am dead of the awesome." :-)
