Oh, I'm sure I would have done an Aristo/NIMH crossover if it had occurred to me. I loved both those films. But at 8-9 I was still too busy laboriously hand-printing and illustrating THE CAT CHRONICLES (a series of fantasy adventures starring me and my eighteen magical, talking, fabulous underground kingdom-living cat friends) to think about fan fiction yet.
Man, I wish I hadn't trashed all my pre-sixteen juvenilia...
