No, no, I'm pointing out that Wilson IS Cameron and vice versa, not that Wilson/Cameron would be a good pairing. They're far too much alike to be a good match for each other -- but being so alike means that Cameron, like Wilson, is a good foil for House.
Call me crazy, but I didn't actually mind the episode where Cameron slept with Chase. It was the wrong thing to do, and it didn't make her problems any better or make her feel any happier, and the episode made abundantly clear that Kalvin's gospel of carefree hedonism was a pack of lies and wasn't even true for Kalvin himself. So I thought it was quite well handled and even, in its way, worthwhile. The main problem with the storyline was asking the viewer to buy that Cameron would make such a radical move so quickly... she hadn't really had time to sink into to the level of desperation necessary to justify her trying that kind of experiment.
