I know you wrote this ages ago, but I came across it while perusing the hc_fanficawards nominations page and I just HAD to comment.
This fic is fantastic. I've been reading a lot of House fic lately, and this is one of the only ones I've read that doesn't nudge either House or Cameron out of character to make the relationship work. Given the difficulty of House as a character (and a person), the fact that this story works as wonderfully as it does is a testament to your talent.
House is absolutely spot on. I love the witticisms; they brought me great joy. Cameron is also hard to pin down because she's so gray around the edges, but I think you've got her as well. Lastly, the story itself was wonderfully restrained and an awesome study of their dynamic.
