Eurgh. I have... something. It started a week ago with a vaguely stuffy nose and a dry cough. Now it's a slightly drippy nose, a dry cough and assorted aches and pains. I also felt rather sick to my stomach yesterday, but I don't think that was related to anything but eating too much (and probably too much of the wrong things, as well) at the two parties we'd attended the day before.

And now I'm feeling dizzy. I wish I could lie down and sleep. But while Simon goes down for his nap at noon and usually sleeps until 2 p.m. or so, Nicholas routinely comes stomping upstairs every half hour during that time to see if he's missing anything and/or ask me to change the channel. Sigh.

I hope I'm better by Wednesday -- I'm picking up a friend at the airport that day and she'll be staying for five days. Plus, on Thursday I'm supposed to speak to that ladies' group I didn't get to meet with last month... I'd rather not be coughing and swaying through that one if I can help it.

Brethren (albeit mostly sisters in this case), pray for us. :)
