Boy, is my face red. Thanks to Emily for pointing out that the reason I didn't seem to be getting any comments was because the new version of Blogger messed a few things up and I needed to update my YACCS commenting code. It's fixed now.

I have some more changes to make to the blog when time permits, but first I want to finish my latest story. I spent all day yesterday working on it (dropped the kids off at their Oma's in the morning, picked them up at dinnertime) and if I can just figure out how it ends...

Nicholas's First Sermon

Here, more or less verbatim, is the text of Nicholas's first sermon, which he delivered to his grandparents and myself after sternly commanding us to sit down and listen while he "preached":

"On the first day, God created the aminals, and the juice, and all the yummy food. And then... there were people... and they turned... into a pumpkin."

I'm not sure what translation he's reading -- sounds more like a paraphrase to me.
