Thanks to the lovely and talented Melissa A. commenting on a recent LiveJournal post of mine, a whole bunch of people have been finding their way here from the well-known and widely respected Harry Potter news site The Leaky Cauldron. And here I had no idea my hits had gone up until last night, so I was totally unprepared. HP-loving masses of the world! Forgive me for being so dull!
Most of my HP-related posts are now in my LiveJournal, but there are some archived essays here that might be of interest, particularly last month's article on Why I Read Harry Potter. Or more particularly, why I have no problems with reading (and writing) HP even though I'm a conservative evangelical Christian. There's a follow-up post as well, addressing some common criticisms of the Potter books, here.
