Dear Miss Manners:
I have an RL acquaintance who insists on forwarding "inspirational" and/or "funny" e-mails to my address on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. There is never any personal message attached to these messages; they are crammed with annoying graphics, emoticons and fonts; and I have (unfortunately) seen most of them before anyway. I do not wish to hurt my this person's feelings nor dampen their youthful enthusiasm, but my Inbox's glucose reading is off the scale and would you please, please tell me how to make it stop?
Yours in desperation,
RJ in Canada
