Thanks for asking! Knife went to the editor once, and six months later I received a very detailed letter saying that the editor really liked it but... and went on to point out some weaknesses in the narrative. She invited me to resubmit the ms. once I'd revised it.
So I revised the ms., which took me six months but made the book a lot better IMO, and sent it back in early July. As of early September, Editor told me she thought the book had taken "a strong step forward" since the last draft, and had passed it on to another editor for a second opinion. Now I am waiting to hear the verdict from Editor #2.
