This would probably mean more to me if I'd actually seen more than 15 minutes of the show...

You scored as Capt. Mal Reynolds. The Captain. You are the captain of the ship, so the crew are your responsibility. You just want to do the job, get paid and keep flying. Why is that always so hard?

Which Serenity character are you?

My husband has seen a few eps of Firefly but I've never got around to it myself. And now my whole f-list is abuzz about it, and I'm actually thinking of seeing Serenity if I get the chance... but right now I'm just trying to figure out when I'm going to find the time to see last night's House and Amazing Race episodes without shortchanging myself on my much-needed sleep. Yawn.

I think you would like Firefly. And last night's House was OMG AWESOME.

I too scored as Mal which makes me dreadfully happy as he is my avatar in the series. He's totally an NT :)

Well, I'm the first to admit that what one person likes not everyone will, but I think you might like Firefly. I've shown it to tons of people recently and had fairly positive feedback from a rather wide range of people actually, so if that's worth anything...

I scored as Wash but with Simon as a very close second.

Count me in as one of those chomping at the bits for Friday to arrive. I discovered Firefly through the wonders of TV on DVD. Although I love Whedon (huge Buffy & Angel fan here), for some reason, the show never grabbed me during its original tv run. Listening to the cast attempt the Chinese language provided hours of entertainment for me (although they did get better in the latter eps).

Why did TPTB decide to schedule House & TAR in the same timeslot? Time to find some blank tapes.

You might really like Firefly, if you have time; it's a good deal more "grown-up" than Buffy, in the basic metaphors it uses, and while the humor is still witty, there's a good deal more snark going on.

Borrow or rent them if you get a chance sometime. I'd love to know what you think.

Firefly has a lot of meat when it comes to plot and characters; the plots are excellent and the characters are more fleshy and real. The wit is mostly sarcastic but amusing. I think you'd like the series.
