rj_andersonOver the past couple of days I've been frequently referring to Luke 13:1-5 in regard to this whole "Hurricane Katrina was God's Judgment on Sinful New Orleans" nonsense, so I was glad to see I'm not the only one. People like "hugo" need a serious reality check, but I must say Jeri has more patience or at least more tenacity in dealing with these kinds of self-righteous, ignorant wackos than I do.
However, the best thing in the post is the last line. Tragic_pizza, whoever and wherever you are, I salute you.
P.S. For the record, I do not subscribe to the view that what happened in New Orleans was a divine judgment on the sins of the city, so the wording of the post, even Jeri's part of it (and I'm not sure whether she meant to imply that or didn't realize how it sounded) is unfortunate in that regard, and please don't take the link as my endorsement of such a view. But in any case, the final comment stands.
