Faery Christmas!*

I discovered a Most Exciting Thing this morning -- it appears that Arrow is already on the shelves at some bookstores in the UK!

I am not sure about Ireland, since last year Rebel was kept off the shelves until the official release date, but perhaps one of my Irish friends can let me know about that one?

Meanwhile, I am working like crazy** on my revisions for Ultraviolet and am so far happy with my progress. But I still have a ways to go, so off I must dash...

Hope all of you are healthy and safe and enjoying a semi-relaxing holiday season!

* Sorry about that pun. I just thought of it and... well... yeah.
** I should probably be sorry about that too.

Didn't you post a little while back that you'd be doing some signings in the UK in the early part of next year? I think I'll probably hold off buying it until then. Do you have specific dates for that yet, by the way?

[identity profile] rj-anderson.livejournal.com 2010-12-16 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes! I'll be in the UK from January 31 - February 4, with various appearances in London, Lancaster, Leeds and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. The schedule isn't completely firm yet, but as soon as it is I'll post the details.

Last year I pre-ordered Rebel from Amazon and ended up cancelling it so I could get the book quicker as I found it while shopping. This year - well, I pre-ordered it from Amazon this morning!

FYI, the links on the top of your webpage for Arrow (http://www.rj-anderson.com/books.htm#ARROW_) (the BROWSE INSIDE this book and the links to buy just below the browse inside) link to pages for Wayfarer and Knife.

Also, is there a US release date for Arrow?

The text link at the top just jumps you down the page to the information about ARROW, since all the Books information is on the same page. The Browse Inside links above that are (and are supposed to be) for WAYFARER, as you can see if you scroll back up manually.

I do need to update the description and add more links to the ARROW section, though. Will do that now.

Sadly, I have no info about a US edition of ARROW at present. I hope it will still happen, but I don't know when.

OK. I see what happened with the links. Sorry for the confusion. When I clicked on the link for Arrow, what showed up at the top of my webbrower was "A thrilling, addicting read." - VOYA, BROWSE INSIDE this book, and the Buy links, then the fancy curly line, then information on Arrow. In other words, the page looked like a page that was just about Arrow, it didn't look like the bottom part of a page on all your books. I see now that if I scroll up, those links I thought went to Arrow actually go to Wayfarer, but it didn't look that way at first. Sorry to bother you about this.

Alas, all I know is what's written in the back of ARROW -- Spring 2012. And I really hope it isn't any earlier than that, because I haven't even started writing the book yet...!

But thank you for reading, and I'm glad you're excited about SWIFT!

Summer -- thank you so much!

I'm not going to be in Oxford specifically that I know of, but I will be coming to the UK the first week of February -- I'll be doing some school visits and signings in London and area, and also some in northern England. As soon as I have specific details I'll post them here and on the website.

And if that doesn't work out for you, contact me again and I can send you some signed bookplates...
