Excuse me while I die of shock...
I actually got something written today. Something new. A scene for one of my long-neglected WiPs. And it rattled off my fingertips so easily, it was like the way writing used to be for me, years ago. Not a long scene, but then it didn't take long to write, either. I'm still shocked that I actually finished a whole scene in less than an hour -- these days it often takes me that long to get through two or three paragraphs.
Anyway, yeah. It's a bit from near the end of the Margot fic, so I can't share it without bombarding you all with spoilers, alas. But I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.
Next up on the agenda: the Snape family dinner party scene. Or rewriting pretty much the entire first chapter of IWS. However, the Snape & Sydney tag-team fic is probably going to sit on the back burner until the new season of Alias starts. Sorry...

Just be advised that the third and biggest story in the D&L trilogy, "If We Survive", is about to be edited and reworked extensively to fit in with Book 5 canon... the first two parts are already done, however, and I've updated the links to those accordingly.
I hope you enjoy the stories!

The most superficial reaction is "Ick, time travel? That's going too far." But I do know better than to just accept such a thing at face value.
So I'm internally debating whether to be excited or just terrified.

My husband hates time travel plots in *any* form, however, even when they show up in STAR TREK and other hardcore SF shows (as you can imagine, I never managed to sell him on DOCTOR WHO). So I'm sure he'll be griping like anything if it turns out to be time travel.
On the other hand, based on the little information I have about Season Three it looks like in Sydney's case time travel was not actually involved. She's simply missing her memories of the last two years, and is going to have to figure out what she was up to during that time...

Hope you get even more things written. I know it makes me happy when I do. *hugs*
