Picture Meme

Since I am taking a short break from churning out words, why not?

The Rules:
Take a picture of yourself right now.
Don't change your clothes, don't fix your hair...just take a picture.
Post that picture with NO editing.
Post these instructions with your picture.

Glassy, unfocused eyes for the win!

*sigh*

You are so pretty and you have awesome hair.

You are as pretty as your icon. And like everyone else who's done this meme, you're far braver than I.

I want the hair. Why did you get the hair?

Mmmm excellent bones and lovely curly hair, definitely made of win.

So pretty! You look like your userpic, too!

Yes, I just did this too. It wasted five minutes. I guess I should go back to editing. *sigh*

Candid That Looks Most Like the Icon - for the win!

Hey, you look just like your icon!

I swear, I didn't read the comment before mine first...

Uh... a pile of stuff including [livejournal.com profile] sartorias (a.k.a. Sherwood Smith)'s Crown Duel and A Posse of Princesses, [livejournal.com profile] claudiagray's Evernight, D. M. Cornish's Lamplighter, [livejournal.com profile] eegatland (a.k.a. Elizabeth E. Wein)'s entire Arthurian/Ethiopian cycle, three books by Eva Ibbotson... and that's just the stuff I've bought in the last six months. :D

Why is it that natural beauties - women who would look good in a barrel - NEVER can bring themselves to believe they are beautiful? I have no less than three startlingly lovely creatures who are online friends - at least, that I know of - and all of them have no confidence in their looks at all. I realize that in your case, your remarkable beauty is less important than your writing work and all the talents you take to it, but, take it from me, you are beautiful. After all, there is no reason whatsoever why beauty should not go with talent; Raffaello, for instance, was reputed to be the handsomest man of his day.

You're very kind, and thank you; but I wasn't really disparaging my looks (which I'm fairly content with overall), I just thought I had glazed eyes in that picture. :D

You have good bones.

Hurray! My camera's not working!

All right, you win! ^___^

Heh, that looks more like "distracted by interesting flicker" than "glassy and unfocused."
