Small Ponders (First in a Series)

I know it is ridiculous to imagine that Kraft Spirals taste better than regular Kraft Dinner, but part of me still believes that they do.

Spirals and shells hold onto more of the cheesy goodness than elbow macaroni, so it may not be as ridiculous as you think. :)

So do the Spiderman shapes. :)

The interesting shapes are (a) easier to fork and (b) contribute a slightly more interesting texture, which might improve the general experience. :)

I think it's possible they do. I'm a big fan of the 3 cheese shells myself, though. Oh, and Annie's peace pastas cause I get a kick out of the peace pastas. All of this is making me want mac n' cheese.

No, I agree that the spirals really are better.

You're absolutely right -- spirals are better.

Definitely

I, too, prefer spirals to normal. And my old roommate would only eat shapes. Sadly, in Australia, they only have normal 'KD' and it's not even quite KD. But I will be having it for dinner tonight anyways.

WHAT ARE WE MISSING?

I like the Kraft w/tomato best, which is odd, because I'm not normally into tomato flavours. But there you go...

Well, first off, Australian mac&cheese, while tasty, is pretty good but not quite as good. And less orange. I've never had different flavours, though, because such things scare me. But shapes/spirals are pretty awesome, though, because they hold more sauce. But, on the other hand, they don't slot nicely on to the tines of your fork...

mmm, kd... Oh, and in Canada, it's cheaper - 99c for a box.

Um, actually I like the regular better. I don't like all those weird noodles. ;-)

I read someplace that rotini (which I think is the same thing?) actually were originally shaped that way specifically because more surface area + nooks & crannies = lots more saucy goodness with each bite. At any rate, I've conducted many yummy scientific experiements along these lines, and it works for me. :)
