Which, of all my fics to date, should I submit here? Any suggestions? I'm stumped...

And fifty points to anybody who can source the lyric in the subject line. It's one of my favorite songs, but terribly, terribly obscure.

A gilded wreath on reason
The flower crushed conceives
A child of fragrance so much clearer
In legacy

I love the song.

50 points to Slytherin, please.

Man, you ROCK.

Does that mean Slytherin gets the points?

House love, baby.

Jesus Freak is my personal favorite. From what I heard, anyway.

LOL, unless DC Talk has started doing covers of Talk Talk songs, we're talking about two very different bands! Personally, I'm a big fan of the latter, but can't say I've ever been impressed by the former...

You still get the house points for getting the song right, though, even with the band mix-up. :)

Well, I definitely have a copy of a Jesus Freak remix with the name DC Talk attached to it. *ponders* Someone's been playing with me.

No, no, I mean that "Eden" (the song I quoted and you got the points for) is by Talk Talk and not by DC Talk. So when you mentioned "Jesus Freak", which is a DC Talk song, I thought, "Either there's a major mix-up here, or DC Talk has done a cover version of 'Eden' that I don't know about..."

Hope that makes sense.

Hmm...in terms of "legacy", TPMA would probably be best, but my personal vote is for "Communion" - it's probably my favorite of all your stories, and the one that I've reread most. Plus, I do think that includes enough elements from the rest of the your writing to be truly representative, if that makes any sense.

Definitely an interesting archive idea, anyway.

I think I would have to agree with Natasha. Communion does seem to encapsulate many of your favorite themes. And as much as I love the HP fanfiction, the Dr. Who stories are still my favorites.

You guys really think "Communion"? Wow. I'm really glad you liked it so much, but... it's so heavily dependent on the fics before it, so do you think it would really work as a stand-alone? And there's that big chunk in the end that's nothing but OC's, which Kate Orman told me didn't quite work, and I can't help thinking she was right...

I was definitely thinking one of the Whofics, though. Either "Touching Indigo" or "Sacrifice", maybe, though the former's thin on plot and the latter doesn't really show Thea to her best advantage. Or maybe "Possessions" would be a good fic, though it's somewhat atypical.

Wah! I can't decide!
