Made. Of. Awesome.

Dear F-List:

I hold you all responsible for not telling me that Emma Bull had written an X-Files script. I mean, seriously, people, what do I keep you for?

And it's wonderful, of course, and made me massively nostalgic for the glory days of the series. Sigh. Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] lydaclunas and other interested parties can find it here: Cuckoo.

And now I must dig up my old text files and see if I can find LoneGunGuy's "Diaspora", which is the other Best Non-Filmed Script Ever. I crack it out and re-read it every few years out of sheer admiration, and I still wonder -- who was that masked ficcer?

Hm, no X-Files icons. Alas.

I did not know this! *bookmarks for later perusal*

I almost had tickets to see David Duchovny on the Tonight Show, but it didn't quite pan out alas (we had the previous day instead). But then I found out he was on to talk about his new Showtime series Californication, which was plastered all across LA building wraps and billboards, and I thought, "LOLZ DAVID DUCHOVNY GOING BACK TO HIS ROOTS HAHAHA."

*shakes head in shame*
I'm sorry I let you down!

We've been watching the whole series... one or two episodes a night. The library had the first two seasons, but now we're downloading them.

Lots of fun!

Already done! I'd known for some time she had an LJ, but hadn't checked it recently -- last I looked, she seemed to be using an offsite blog for most stuff and the LJ just for comments. Glad she's made the switch...

LOL

I didn't know either! =)

Memories. Like the corners of... Oh, hum...sorry there. I long for the days of X-files. Question? I don't recognize the bottom left of the icon four. Help me out?!

You recognized Manimal but not Airwolf?! Hee.

When I grew up I wanted to be a detective like Stefanie and of course marry Remington Steal!

The only reason I knew Manimal was the year in which it aired. I was big into the theater and a few of the cast liked the show. One of the cast had a recorder-beta no less as it was 84?-and she recorded a few for us to watch later. John Chase? Dr or professor or...wow, memories are not as clear as I'd like! :Dd

Scarecrow and Mrs King was also one of my favorite. Thinking back I never realized my trend in watching crime solver guy/girl teams until now. I never did like Moonlighting but would die without my weekly fix of the X-Files.

Dr. Jonathan Chase -- close enough!

I was surprised to find that the show only ran for half a season, but then, it was Teh Cheese.
