O IM Buddies, Where Art Thou?

I have TEH NEWS to impart. Don't get too excited, mind you -- it's not about the book, it's just about the baby (heh, just).

I shall be on around 9 p.m. EST tonight. Page me!

P.S. Somebody tried to page me and I accidentally rejected you while in the middle of typing something else. Didn't even get to glimpse the name. Try again?

OMG YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT THAT UNDER A CUT TAG BECAUSE THAT WAS A SPOILER YOU INSENSITIVE JERK!!! Oops, never mind, I thought for a minute I was posting on [livejournal.com profile] doctorwho.

I am all about the Welsh names, myself. *sighs wistfully* But I'm not too worried, hubby and I have always had little difficulty agreeing on boys' names we liked -- it was always girls' names that were the problem. Nothing settled yet, but I'm sure we'll find something decent.

HA! *facepalms and feels the wrath of modly!Syn (who is greatly missed, by the way...)*

I'm sure you will, too. Promise me that you'll avoid doing the hip thing and giving your boys normal names with weird spellings though, okay? (Mothers who name their boys "Arron" and "Sheaun", I'm looking at you. watch one of the aforementioned names be one of your children's names. Just my luck!)

Ew, no, absolutely not. My other two are named Nicholas and Simon -- pretty straightforward, no? I mean, I was peeved to find out how popular "Nicholas" has become on this side of the ocean in the last few years, but it never occurred to me to name him "Nikkolis" in retaliation. :)

Oh, thank god! As a future teacher, I'm horrified by this trend. I mean, how do you pronounce "Sheilaugh" anyhow? That's just asking for your child to get beat up on a daily basis. Oh, and cute names! vaguely British. I think you should stick with the theme!

I think it probably involves a handkerchief and a lot of phlegm...

Congrats once more, Rebecca. Hope everything goes fabulously well with you. And I love the multi-coloured sheep icon; it reminds me of the dyed sheep in *Blow Dry*! 8-)
