Ouch! That is harsh. I know a woman who was told at the funeral for her youngest child of twelve, who had died the week he was born, "Oh well, at least you have all those other children." And also, "You can always have another one."

I find myself reluctant to say ANYTHING to people at funerals, just for fear of coming out with something as awful and insensitive as that.
