What the Weather?!

It is January 4th and there is not a single speck of snow on the ground. The grass of our front lawn is the color of jade. Across the road, two kids are running around in shirtsleeves, and earlier this week, my oldest son went for a bike ride.

This is the weirdest Canadian winter ever.

I just drove by a park where the daffodils are in bloom. Granted, I'm a tad south of you (Georgia), but we've been running a good 10-degrees F above normal for months.

Isn't it? Read an article couple of days called "Toronto the new Vancouver?" -- basically how the 2 cities have switched weather patterns, they're getting snow and we're getting this freaky warm weather.

Global warming, anyone?

We've got record snowfall in Anchorage, AK. Got stuck this morning. Count your blessings.

It's warm in Ohio too. This time last year we were still recovering from record snowfall over Christmas week. This year, I've worn a light sweater outside and was comfortable. They're blaming El Nino. Poor guy.

Our winter has been notably un-brag-worthy, as well.

That el Nino throws *everything* off. *fears the return of the cold, for it will be frigid*

So that's where it went--

Hey! That's what my front pasture is supposed to look like!

You sent all your snow to the balmy Pacific Northwest (global cooling, anyone :-)

You can have it back now, okay?
