Now. I am saying that the discussion of women's appropriate roles in *That Hideous Strength* is stodgy, misogynistic, and prudish. I adduce birth control as one example of this. In my further posting, I referred to Lewis's insistence that the only appropriate role for a married woman is as mother. I find the scene in which Jane is dressed to seduce her husband deeply creepy. I find the book *That Hideous Strength*, which was written by a Protestant, creepy and misogynist. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Catholic Church.
I have nowhere made any of the general statements of which you are accusing me. I made a narrowly specified argument, which you chose to broaden.
